🇳🇱 🇮🇹 🇹🇷 Here’s a precious gem lurking in a musical desert. Go find it and savor the richness of this adorable sound.

AVA Trio is an international collaboration found in the Netherlands back in 2015 by Giuseppe Doronzo (baritone saxophone), Esat Ekincioglu (double bass),  and Pino Basile – percussion). Each of them is a talented musician contributing to the success of  the project.

The band is performing Mediterranean music with its variety and multidimensionality. Having roots sunk deeply into the earth of the eras, the art of AVA trio has also a lot of common with jazz and modern music.

Don’t forget to meet the cupaphon, an unusual elegant instrument played by Pino Basile. I feel that cupaphon is invented to make the skin crawl. Check it on the video below and let me know whether your personal goosebumps arrive or not.
