🇳🇴 Welcome to the mysterious constellation where the giant cosmic Jelly floats and moves to the music by Faraxis.
Faraxis is a new project by Frank Espen Larsen living in Fredrikstad, Norway. All music is written and played by Frank, with a participation of drummers Henrik Dahle and Sverre Dahlback, who helped to make this journey come true.
“Space Jelly” is a cool collection of mid-tempo pieces, rich in plain and synthetic sounds. However, you won’t get the sense of something artificial, as the songs appear to be organic and self-contained.
Take “Interstellar Currents”, one of my favorites. It is a sonic narrative, compact and pushy in the same time. Just after it, you’ll have another story, slightly melancholic in its futurism. As soon as it ends, wham, there is “Zzzt”, definitely faster one, which is pretty catchy. I’ve told you only about a middle part of the album. It’s time for you to unveil the rest, not to mention that this Jelly is at the very end, and it sounds no less great!
