🇺🇸 It’s one of my most anticipated releases of the year and I am not disappointed: Cavum turns to be well prepared and perfectly balanced.
One might bark a little bit about recurrence in the genre. I’d reply that there’s no genre, and there’s no need to assign a pioneer from the past. It’s better to float in the music these guys create and keep the track.
Comparing to the previous stuff by Pillars, CAVUM is more concrete, forceful and even formidable. It’s majestic and atmospheric with a shift to the other side, dark as the artwork is.
During the journey, you’ll meet passages and intense moments, another one Solace depicted. Two guitars (Marc and Justin), bass (Nason), and drums (Zach) all sounds excellent. I invite you to fall into this CAVUM but don’t forget to come back!
