Marihiko Hara & Polar M – Dance (2017)

🇯🇵 The duo is a collaboration of talented Japanese artists who have been successful in making live performances throughout Asia, in which they combined acoustics, electronics, and choreography.

Marihiko Hara and Masumi Muranaka (Polar M) are musicians from Kyoto both working in individual style. Marihiko creates melodies for piano, commonly light and deep, with a vast landscapes. Polar M works with electronic sounds and arrangements on this album, and his personal art is audiovisual.

This “dance” is a not a story only about movement of dancers reacting to the sounds of music they experience, but also about the universe as it consists not of isolated particles but dancing matter…
