🇺🇸 Second album by Khruangbin seems very special and life-affirming, it rises above division into genres, being eclectic and pioneering in the same time.
Although we are told that “Con Todo El Mundo” absorbs authentic flavor of Spanish music and also has influences from the Middle East, to me Khruangbin has invented something very specific. The trio plays essentially light music, enriched by tiny nuances which play their own game altogether.
Deep bass lines here covers all the rest while surfing guitar parties are worked out to address our attention to the band’s story. Although Khruangbin’s music is wordless and easy listening, it has great pure matter and especially nice background con todo el mundo. Like a world of Khruangbin that the band invites us to visit.
