🇧🇪 Glide to the the very end of metal. Where the denuded heart exhales a stunning scream…
I was surprised to learn that Belgian Rope&Bones has been creating and performing as duo for all the time. Please welcome Vincent Dessard (guitar and voice) and Brice Massart (drums). This year they have issued “Déchirures“, full-fledged album which can easily break your heart.
Before to deal with nem materials, the guys had enough time to reflect and reinvent the passion. Et voilà, high-pitched and reinforced, the album has finally appeared. Minimalistic but extremely deep sound. You even won’t feel the lack of bass. Tremendous.
Mainly low-tempo, the compositions are devoted to eternal artistic research. Where does the effort go and how is it terminated? What is in the core of the feeling and what happens with us? Perhaps the question becomes also the answer when you listen to Rope&Bones.
