🇪🇸 Monumental release from Spanish band Terrestre: it’s calm but extremely energetic, depicting beautiful landscapes and creating pure senses.
The name of this album refers to ancient Egypt, however I’m not sure it has strong relation. We receive a perfect blend of boosted post-rock instead of traditional Egyptian music.
This is a kind of album which you can listen non stop for a dozen of times without any chance to get bored. Compositions are excellent written, recorded and mixed: the whole album is precisely adjusted as the songs follow each other and have no contradiction.
These guys are very good narrators although they do not talk to the audience with words as their guitars, bass and drums are not worse in storytelling. “Montuhotep” is the second work by Terrestre and it shows huge step forward. Hope the next one will be even better!
