๐น๐ท Our goose brings us to Istanbul, a city of crossing paths, roads, waterways… and wonderful music!
That’s the case when it’s hard to pick a correct flag. Maestro Yinon Muallem was born in Israel to an Iraqi origin family. He has been studying, practicing and composing music referred to various regions and cultures, generally specializing in percussion and oud playing. Along with Turkish and Klezmer traditions, his interests involve Middle East, Balkan, Gypsy, Sufi, and Indian art.
Yinon’s Compositions demonstrate the richness of the universal language. So many voices has found themselves in his music, and meeting together, they make unique style.
According to the author, “Norwegian Oud” should be considered the most world album ever created by him. No argue, here traditional folk is whirling with jazz, chamber and improvisational music. Precious gift for your ears and you soul!
