Kairon; IRSE! – Ujubasajuba (2014)

🇫🇮 Kairon; IRSE! is a name of Finnish band surfing from psychedelic rock to shoegaze and even something heavier and progressive.

Although it’s hard to define style of their music, this album leaves pretty pleasant feeling. Sometimes the sounding is vast and ambiental, then it jumps out its borders with guitar solo and finally calms down – this is the cycle that the guys settle in a listener’s head.

They create something special halfway between rock and metal. The cherry on a cake is Russian lyrics performed by bassist Dmitry Melet – for sure it makes difference. Although the band has more recent release, debut “Ujubasajuba”  fits my personal taste in a better way:  it makes the participant fall in love by embracing with its naivety and wide experiments with the sound.

Regarding me, I am definitely lost in the forest while listening to “Les, Moh y Gribi” (Лес, мох и грибы) track which closes this page of a band’s history…
