1. Calicoco โ Underneath (2021)

๐บ๐ธ The first piece in our list comes from Long Beach, New York. Leaded by Giana Caliolo, this band shares its energy and passion in straightforward mode. Close your eyes and take a ride on the swing. The guitar riffs will pick you up, and brilliant vocals will take care of you. Gliding from alternative rock to sheer fantasy, Calicoco’s music is full of life and freedom. It can be bright and sunny, but easily changing to melancholic and thoughtful mood. Such a variety is so natural that you will not figure it out indeed, just feeling joy of this album.

2. Ouzo Bazooka โ Dalya (2021)

๐ฎ๐ฑ Straight to Tel Aviv, Israel, to meet Ouzo Bazooka and whirl into the maelstrom. The fifth album by the band turned to be eccentric, both pure and acid. Oriental currents are being concentrated here, reacting directly through your skin. Hypnotic compositions will not leave you alone, inviting creatures of all kinds to this unusual party. Some worn out memories, fragile aspirations and intentions to change the now, all are welcome. Within this album, Ouzo Bazooka stops the flight of time for a while. Just for our adventure!

3. Yagow โ The Mess (2021)

๐ฉ๐ช Our trip continues further, and here is a drifty part. Yagow plays catchy stuff, weird and so nice. Some twists are leading to kraut, while others dissolve you in a kind of shoegaze. Don’t worry, dense riffs and mighty vocals will bring you back on track. Sounding bluesish and indie in the same time, the trio keeps its own balance and pace. To me, “The Mess” is not really what it’s called. It’s rather mesmerizing story told by the means of true rock and inspiration. Great mess it is, guys.

4. Gora Mama โ Gora Mama (2021)

๐จ๐ญ Gora Mama from Switzerland makes it heavier. The self-titled album turns to be crushing and astonishing act. It starts with the call, possibly coming from the outer world. Then, the trio immerses the listener into psychedelia with the strong stoner influences. The vocals are explicit and even fierce, mainly female with the male backing parties. There are also instrumental chapters of this story, solid and monumental. It contrasts other parts, sharp and provocative, to finish the whole picture.

5. Miscellen โ Blue Ruin (2021)

๐ฌ๐ง ๐บ๐ธ It’s the turn of Miscellen now. The project hails from Washington DC (USA) and Bristol (UK). The ocean of selected psychedelia unites the members of the band and replenishes the vessel of inner energy. “Blue Ruin” is something progressive, mildly heavy and eclectic. It has a rich background and a bunch of unusual means, industrial-like or even seeming new age arrangements which should surprise the lovers of good classical hard rock . It’s pretty strange release, obscure and plain in the same time.

6. Maha Sohona โ Endless Searcher (2021)

๐ธ๐ช The last piece for today is the Swedish one. Maha Sohona from Umeรฅ delivers us to the orbit. The guys add the clear vocals and nice melodies to universal space rock patterns, soft transitions and harder riffs which are lurking behind. Wait for a couple of minutes and turn a stack of pages to feel these goosebumps apperaing out of the blue, when the time for the boosting comes. The mighty trio extends the psychedelia, not forgeting to involve desert and southern rock. Well, southern in Sweden? Why not, as it sounds delicious!
