Yunis works with ancient art as well as with modern digital tools which he has at hand. Sometimes an artist doesn’t need an orchestra to create a pallet of sounds, a keyboard and a laptop is enough.

“Mulid El-Magnoun” has a variety of episodes and stories hidden in the sands. Try to dig something small, a pyramid appearing. Yunis is interested in old and new art traditions coming from different places and people, involving Sufi heritage, sacred and popular folk themes.

Making it sound actual and even acid, this sound designer easily hypnotizes us and leave embarrassed. Where are we? Perhaps, old bazaar opens its rows, or the enchanted tribe invites us for a ceremony?
