If there is a “citizen of a world”, a “band of the world” is also a term. Thus, Kolonel Djafaar stands for world music spanning the roots, conventional musical influences and authentic interpretations.

Here in Antwerp, selected afrobeat meats jazz and fusion and blossoms amongst other sorts of music, which are courageously thrown into melting pot.

I bet you’ll fall in love in “Bactrian Camel”, my personal pick from this EP. Further on, calmer wives are coming, followed by massive horn section and mild solos appearing one after another. All sounds natural, charming and actual, not to mention some psychedelic effects, thanks to the keys which collaborate with the brass instruments in a very specific way.
