🇷🇺 Deep dark and overwhelming. That’s all about this EP, which was released beginning of the year 2020.

Grasping Veld resides in Kaliningrad, Russia. They are Evgenii, Alexey, Michail, Igor, and
Andrey. Two guitars, bass, drums, and crushing vocals. Really heavy stuff done with the full force. Three vast and serious compositions.

The record contains sophisticated lyrics and tragic topics, as we are never looking back. The music matches this concept, inviting you to dissolve in cosmos and despair. Interestingly enough, Igor, the voice of the band, is also a philosophy teacher. Now I get the idea why all this is so existential.

My personal pick is the first track, “Left Behind”. It inspires as it starts immediately with the strongest part. No introduction and no hesitation. Straight to the core, and the twister takes you away.
