🇺🇸 New York band Thera Roya has succeeded in developing eclectic heavy music. In their universe, sludge metal meets atmospheric post-metal, while clean vocals and growling all go together.

As I only got acquainted with the band, I could not notice vocalist on the live footage. The camera moved slightly – and here Ryan Smith apperaed: it turned out that the drummer also sings (and does it really not bad).

What I felt behind this album is that Thera Roya had established their own sounding. In my case, first liste did not bring out anything special, but the next one captured the attention. Good album to reflect about.
