Ghost Box Orchestra – High Plaine (2016)

Fuzzy waves and self-improving reverb – these are instruments involved here. In matter, they are represented by guitars, bass, drum and keys (to be exact, cathedral keyboards). Common composition, but it sounds pretty unconventional.

With “High Plaine” Boston-based ensemble Ghost Box Orchestra made huge shift on their more than 10 years way. From melodic and contemplating universe they rushed into the world of bare wires and dense psych.

The concentration of their sound increased in order to vanish out all spots in a listener’s mind. Although previous works of GBO are much milder and attractive in a certain way, the current one – “High Plaine” – is a blast worth to occur again and again inside you after you listen the album. Thus don’t waste your time and push “play”.
