Get some heavy goosebumps immediately with Battalions’ latest album “Moonburn”. It sounds pretty unconventional as it takes advantages of hardcore punk and sludge metal.
Dense and screaming vocals make the sound rather dense and overwhelming.
Originating from Hull (UK), these guys make trouble for critics as it’s a tough task to clarify the style. Not to go deep inside this discussion, I’d just mention that the album is outstandingly heavy and doesn’t contain anything redundant. A lot of selected riffs, a tiny part of melodies and some pauses which make a joy for a headbanger.
