Evidently, Canadian band Metz brings out stunning stream of  energy with their new album “Strange Peace”.

They keep refraining from any sort of cliche (even if they make some) and it’s nice when you have a chance not to find references and similarities. One may easily recall or search for something alike; for my opinion it’s way better just to jump inside the funnel and get flushed down.

Norwegian band Electric Eye makes psych rock resonating and mysterious.
They begin their story and and leave you unattended for a short while. And since you get calmer appear sitar’s wave followed by acid electronic pulse, though. Their music is fresh and powerful as it goes deeply inside and makes something there.

What about light and catchy goosebumps this time?

Eyot’s sound appears to be fresh and eclectic. It’s a story of the music breaking out of standards and genres. Yes, we can find some influences if it’s a goal. Nevertheless, it’s better to close the eyes and drift through these melodies and rhythms without any reference.

For sure, Italian mighty trio MoRkObOt makes experiments not only with the titles for their tracks.

In my opinion, this album is for sure one of the best in 2017.

Australian band Menisus not so often records their works but they do invent masterpieces. For the moment I write these lines Refractions is the top one and each track is worthy of praise. The first, “Doom”, now associates with the band the most, when I think of Meniscus. Continue reading

Gnod – Just Say No To The Psycho Right-Wing Capitalist Fascist Industrial Death Machine (2017)

Starting with explicit and  ingenious title with their last album, Gnod establish direct contact with a listener’s innerself immediately.

Lyrics with social background perfectly pierce massive and raw sound, and you have to cope somehow with all of this stuff. Continue reading

Deamon’s Child – Deamon’s Child (2014)

16

These strange waves once ocassionaly met would pulse in your head again and again.

Being simple and even short-sleeve, some of Deamon’s Child’s tracks are fast enough while the rest slow down to noisy improvisation with unexpectedly raw finale. You have to think of what is not played and said though… and it makes sense.
