This Danish duo seems reached the pinnacle of minimalism… or post-minimalism? Starting with the name simply made up of two participants’ names, nothing extra.

A minimum of sound, but the richest sound. Soft and unpretentious arrangements. Sometimes the narrative “narrows” down to just a few repetitive notes. You involuntarily think why to pile up extraneous sounds, if it’s just enough to plunge into the beauty, using what’s at hand. Observe the simple instead of the complex.

This album is the third one by Svaneborg Kardyb. It’s tutle can be translated as “Over the roofs”, which already sets you in a sublime mood. Hopefully, this music conquers you from the very first composition in the same way as it happened with the author of these short lines.
