Absent In Body stands for a super-group which has appeared 2017 and since that time has been slowly moving towards hazy future, reviving the ruins of metal and pouring new life in it.

If these titans would be gathered in one place and a moment of time, the universe would collapse. And that happened, the debut album is here and it overwhelms. Could you imagine Colin H. Van Eeckhout with his Amenra’s long time mate Mathieu J. Vandekerckhove joined by Scott Kelly and Iggor Cavalera? It could be only a dream, but the dreams come true.

This opus is not only after-metal one. Possibly it’s after-post-metal. Extremely heavy but not mind crashing, slow enough to freeze its listener but not conventional sludge. Something inhuman and sheer earthborn in the same time. The half rising man, that’s it.
