Lonker See – Time Out (2022)

🇵🇱 Embracing minimalism. That’s what Lonker See presents to us, and this treasure captures whole attention.

“Time Out” is an exceptional example of genres intersection. Here you’ll meet a saxophone but it seems escaping from conventional jazz. Then, the guitar parties are not that much into rock style. Huge area for improvisations, reflections and abstractions. And, after all, outstanding sense of presence.

Until the last piece on the album, namely “Friends”, we are captivated by the story. No idea why did the tracks receive their names, like “Berlin” or “Chewbacka”, but that’s not important at all. Just floating and letting these waves carry us.

Sometimes the atmosphere acquires dark shades, while through the rest moments, it still stays mild and touching. It’s a kind of album that needs at least several listening sessions to unveil more and more of its features.
