Edgard Varèse is one of the most famous musical thinkers and researcher of XX century. His strange and extremely unstandard compositions surprise and overwhelms. He has been inviting various sources of sounds inside an ensemble. Weird abrupt phrases, sharp edges, absence of harmony – all these features are Edgard’s signs on the way to the listener’s heart.

Just to mention, absolutely different composers were inspired by Varèse’s art. Alfred Schnittke and Krzysztof Penderecki, as well as John Zorn and Frank Zappa are of that kind.
