🇬🇷 Grim and sublime beauty… like after volcanic eruption we’re walking silently amidst piles of ash.
Caldera is a Greek trio coming from the capital, Athens. “Tephra” is their first album so far, taking into account the only demo record issued back in 2015. Five compositions, each one having its own atmosphere, carefully delivered with a help of strings and durable drum parties.
I would call “Tephra” intriguing thing: these guys has something to say and they put it into music, not in words. The album seems a trip from the past to the future: spot some kind of inversion in “Nunavut” and brilliant riff in “Derelict“, the last piece. I admit that it can be just my personal sensation, who knows… I bid you welcome: get your own!
