Jeff Oster, Vin Downes, Tom Eaton – Seven Conversations (2024)

🇺🇸 We do have a special album for this evening. It is by three sound masters who shared their “conversations”.

“Conversations” are in quotation marks because this language does not require words. The phrases flow by themselves, being performed by brass, keyboards and guitars.

Jeff Oster (flugelhorn, trumpet) leads the way. This voice is extraordinarily beautiful, following from composition to composition. Vin Downes is a renowned guitarist whose playing technique you will catch from the first vibrations of the sonorous strings. And the trio’s third member, Tom Eaton, handled the rest: keyboards, bass, electronics and arrangements, as well as recording and production.

It seems that the main thing on the recording is the sparkling air that you want to breathe while listening to this silent conversation before and after the sunset.
