🇳🇿 We are already familiar with Craig Williamson from New Zealand. Issued under the Lamp of the Universe project, the album “Dead Shrine was released in 2020, and a later work dated 2022 also hit our networks.

Craig has a whole string of projects: Datura, Arc Of Ascent, Azazel. Some of them go into the past to be reincarnated in new ones. Each of the beginnings sounds special. Today we are listening to the freshly baked release which got the same sacred name as the earlier album. Moving in an upward spiral, Craig opens up new dimensions.

Turning once again to Buddhist philosophy, this time the author dedicated his opus to the eightfold path. Contrary to expectations, the tracks’ titles do not repeat eight principles of the teaching. I suggest you to figure out what’s what yourself.

In terms of the sounding, the material differs significantly from Lamp of the Universe. Voluminous riffs produce excellent vibrations. They open and adjust all chakras, eyes, ears and other instruments for interacting with the outside world.
