๐ฆ๐บ Today our musical goose has brought something new from Australia. This album will suit the autumn mood and the experience of timelessness.
Once upon a time, rock and metal slowed down and transformed into something that seemed or became indeed formless. Something similar happened with jazz, when doom jazz raised its head.
When it comes to Black Aleph, it’s a story which continued this evolution. Three experimenters from Melbourne and Sydney have united to go further and wander along the seamy side of music. With their extensive experience, musician, producer and researcher Lachlan R. Dale together Peter Hollo and Timothy Johannessen, maneuver between landmarks. They just create something of their own rather than synthesize the stuff from something specific.
Their instrumentation includes guitars and effects, cello and percussion. Thus, Iranian daf meets European strings and modern electronics. Each part creates its own sound layer. They intersect and merge in evolution with the neighboring voices. Listen to it only with immersion and special effects are guaranteed to you along the way.
