πΊπΈ π¬π§ Many of you are currently experiencing heat these days. To cool down a bit, listen to this album.
It was released about a month ago. Though the work on the material was carried out in the “reverse” season. It was a snowy winter and a state of complete separation reigned. The trio was scattered to different corners of the planet. The echoes of isolation awoke in the songs and besides the global, the deeply personal things raged.
The album’s themes comprise the excess of human society and the pervasive loneliness. Then, overcrowding and complete emptiness make another side of the paradox. Losses and gains, separations and reunions continue the line. From all this the album came out with its philosophical themes and situations being complex in their simplicity.
There, the charming voice of Emily Cross and the melodies played by her permanent bandmates soar. The album also features Laurie Anderson participation. Note that Brian Eno worked on the previous LOMA’s album. It makes it even more interesting to unravel these stories. Some of them were inspired by artificial intelligence interpreting previous experiences.
