2. Get the Blessing β Pallett (2023)
π¬π§ This album from the British project has been stuck in our queue for an undeservedly long time. We correct ourselves and catch the pulsations that penetrate through it. 3. Reinhard Vanbergen, Charlotte Caluwaerts β Circle Back (Inspired by Kadir Ferati Balci) (2023)
π§πͺ Belgian Reinhard Vanbergen continues his own special series of albums, each of which is based on inspiration from the particular artist’s work. This time the compositions are built around the art of Kadir Ferati Balci, a director from Ghent. Here, strings convey the depth of atmosphere and drums and electronics steer the narrative in and out of jazz.

π³πΏ We are finishing this episode in Wellington, New Zealand. Local saxophonist and composer Lucien Johnson presents his latest piece.
