🇳🇱 Today we discover an extravagant quartet from Maastricht. Whether you expect to hear something that sounds European, shake off that anticipation and trust the imagination of these guys.
A tiny gate to a parallel universe opens while you are listening to YĪN YĪN. Asia is bursting with lush colors, although such sounds could hardly have appeared in Japan or Vietnam.
Looking from the other side, you’ll catch the wind from the Wild West. This is how two completely unrelated worlds meet each other. I also imagined something Turkish, but as soon as I tried to catch this phantom, it dissipated immediately.
Like its predecessors, this album itself is entirely a mirage. It will mislead you and leave you such awkward state. It’s all the more pleasant to hike the Mount Matsu, as you can find some surf rock, funk, and pumped-up pop music as well.
