๐ณ๐ฟ ๐บ๐ธ This album is the solo work of a musician who calls himself Forest Bohrer.
Having moved to New Zealand from Seattle, he took with him not only fog and wind. The music of the project cleverly combines the atmosphere of viscous post-metal with intense sludge viscosity and a lighter sound.
Inside the compositions, powerful waves come one after another. From time to time, they retreat back into the bottomless ocean and fragile underwater dunes protrude to the surface. The authorโs experiments involve hints of Seattle grunge, some synthetics, even a kind of acid dub.
However, it is surprising that these distinct layers do not fall apart but form a single whole. Everything is firmly glued together by mighty vocals drawing from doom and other domains of good old metal.
