3. Kmru – Epoch (2022)

🇰🇪 Now we find ourselves in Nairobi, Kenya. The local sound genius KMRU melts natural and synthetic voices into patterns and makes stories out of them. In his process, he uses field recordings, something like rustles and scratches. Sounds from various broken instruments and items that are normally not instruments at all, are appropriate as well. Adding firm drones and noises makes the sketches complete, and you can start listening from any point you desire. The elements are linked to each other in this universe of sound.
